Students, faculty, staff and alumni asked to share how #BobcatsMakePeace

This holiday season, Ohio University is celebrating all of the ways in which Bobcats across the globe are making the world a better place. Whether you are a student, alumni, faculty or staff member, we invite you to share your story on social media using #BobcatsMakePeace through the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service on Monday, Jan. 16.

As one Bobcat family, we strive to think beyond our differences and celebrate the friendship, scholarship and humanity that unite us all. Whether through classes or projects, community service or small actions that make a big impact, we ask you to express how #BobcatsMakePeace by:

  • Sharing a personal story using #BobcatsMakePeace
  • Sharing the video and encouraging others to join in using the hashtag
  • Sharing the ways in which you see other Bobcats live the values of service, diversity and inclusion through their actions

By telling your stories and the stories of other Bobcats, #BobcatsMakePeace will bring to life the University’s commitment to learning and growing through the shared experiences of OHIO community members from diverse cultures, backgrounds, religions and identities – instilling hope for a better future and spreading peace on Earth this holiday season and throughout the coming year.
