US: MDIA Master Production

This class will offer the opportunity for Ohio University students to work side-by-side with a notable music producer for one week, allowing them to serve in an apprenticeship role as a team during recording and mixing session. This year, students will visit Public Hi-Fi in Austin, TX to work alongside famed producer/dummer, Jim Eno.

Eligibility and selection process

This program is open to upperclass MDIA students at Ohio University. Must be in good academic and judicial standing to participate.

Applicants must be matriculated OHIO students. Non-OHIO applicants must have successfully completed high school or its equivalent.

Students who will be on probation at any point during the program for a conduct offense that took place less than a calendar year from the program start date may not study away.  Click here to read the entire conduct policy.

Students will stay in a hotel in the entire duration of the program.

Program fee includes: airfare, housing, on-site transportation, activities and welcome dinner.

*School of Media Arts & Studies students may apply for an internal scholarship through the  Ralph J. Bitzer MDIA Opportunities Scholarship.
