Spain: Strategic Communication for Startups in Barcelona

Develop comprehensive marketing and communication strategies for emerging businesses in Barcelona this Spring Break! Students will work directly with real businesses in Barcelona to prepare a communication strategy while onsite. Students will gain practical experience onsite needed to set them apart in the global workplace upon graduation.

"Strategic Communication For Startups in Barcelona" will examine the role of communication in a global society, with a specific focus on new and emerging businesses. We will examine and analyze their unique challenges. We will then see globally renowned communications achieve their marketing and branding success and see how those lessons from past years might apply to the brand of tomorrow.

Students will also experience the rich and diverse culture of Barcelona. Excursions include some of the world's top attractions! Students will participate in a tour of Barcelona's 2000+ year old Gothic Quarter, visit Gaudi's unfinished masterpiece - the Sagrada Familia, prepare a multi-course traditional Catalan meal with a professional chef, and more! Discover why Barcelona enchants travelers worldwide.
