Clinical Training and Assessment Center
Welcome to the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine Clinical Training and Assessment Centers. CTAC plays a key role in the Heritage College mission "... to provide a clinically integrated, learning-centered, osteopathic medical education continuum for students, interns, residents, and fellows..."
Through the use of standardized patients and human patient simulators, the CTAC provides a place where medical students, residents and other healthcare professionals can enhance their clinical skills in a safe and supportive environment.
Each CTAC has multiple patient exam rooms, simulated Emergency and Operating Rooms, surgical scrub sinks, and procedure rooms. In addition to the multiple clinical skills task trainers, each CTAC also has multiple human patient simulators for use.
