Do you want to be in radio?

Do you love mixing sound? Maybe you just want to produce a CD for that trying-to-get-out-of-the-garage band you started in high school? We've got a degree that rocks.

What Kind of Classes Will I Take?

The audio production sequence introduces studentswebsite
to the digital audio environment as it pertains to traditional broadcasting and new media platforms. Audio students being with the basic fundamentals of radio production and work through to master the complexities of Internet, news, talk, and sports radio production; as well as short form and commercial projects. For a complete list of classes required to complete the audio sequence go to the courses page. Students are also involved in running sound for a variety of extracurricular productions.
What Kind of Work Will I Be Doing?
In the audio sequence you have the option to take a variety of classes that will prepare you for a career in the audio field. These classes prepare you for field work, studio work, and everything in between. Some of the work you will be doing will include working on the OUS Internet Radio Station and learning how to mix music, voice and sound effects.
