Ohio Education Research Center 2013 Call for Proposals

April 19, 2013

The Ohio Education Research Center is now accepting research proposals for funding in 2013-14. Building stronger connections between knowing and doing is a critical component in improving Ohio's education system from preschool through  higher education and workforce development. The Ohio Education Research Center (OERC), a statewide network of education research assets, has been created to fulfill this mission.

The OERC supports three types of research (see here http://www.oerc.osu.edu/node/107) including investigator initiated projects. The Investigator Initiated Research Program provides funds to encourage Ohio researchers to initiate research efforts with a high likelihood of attracting future external research funding. Researchers from OERC partner institutions are invited to apply for funding to support research which meets the goals of the OERC research agenda. OERC partners include:

The Ohio State University
University of Cincinnati
Wright State University
Miami University
Ohio University

Case Western Reserve University
Strategic Research Group
Battelle Memorial Institute
Battelle for Kids
Community Research Partners

Proposals are due on May 15, 2013. For details on how to apply please
