“LeanOhio Boot Camp: Transforming the Public Sector” is an intensive five-day program tailored to local government organizations that have a desire to make their processes simpler, faster, better and less costly.

Offered through a partnership of the Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center (MVESC) and Ohio University’s Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs, the MVESC training facilitators are Lean Six Sigma Black Belts with years of experience in public-sector process improvement.

LeanOhio Boot Camp participants will be well positioned to apply for Local Government Efficiency Program (LGEP) process improvement grants of up to $100,000, and will have an opportunity for on-going technical support for the grant application process and project implementation.

Full tuition scholarships are available for eligible local government entities and school districts.
