Entrepreneur in Residence

Megan Weber joined Ohio University’s Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs in 2017 as an Entrepreneur in Residence with the Social Enterprise Ecosystem (SEE) program, which serves social enterprises and their philanthropic funders in Ohio and West Virginia. 

Weber received her master’s in public administration from the Voinovich School in 2017, where she researched education and cooperative business models. As a teaching assistant, Weber worked with courses on grant writing and fundraising. Weber also held a graduate assistantship with TechGROWTH Ohio, where she engaged in early-stage entrepreneurial support research and managed pitch competitions and the student workforce. Weber earned her bachelor’s degree from Antioch College in 2002. 

Weber is the owner of Sycamore Run Early Childhood Center, a local social enterprise.  She is also a professional development instructor with the Corporation for Ohio Appalachian Development (COAD). Previously, Weber taught at Hocking College as well as two local private schools, the River Valley Community School and the Sycamore Run Early Childhood Center. Megan is an Ohio native and owns a local farm with her family.
